After finishing a degree in Politics and a year teaching at a school in New Zealand, I moved to Chamonix Mont Blanc in France to pursue my passion for climbing and skiing in big mountains. The “plan” was to stay for a couple of years but I ended up making Chamonix home for 8, the last 3 of which were spent writing and taking photographs for a 500 page guidebook to the area which was published in October 2016. I later spent 5 years in Innsbruck, Austria, and have now settled permanently in Kelowna, Canada.

My presenting career began when I took over the production and presenting of a daily programme at Epic TV. By the time I left we had filmed over 400 episodes and viewing figures for the show had increased eightfold. In addition to my live presenting for Epic TV and the IFSC I have also fronted several live broadcasts for National Geographic and in 2017 obtained a diploma in Television Presenting from the International Open Academy.

I wrote my first article aged 13 for a school magazine and have been writing ever since. In addition to my book, I have also written for National Geographic, Adidas, The Daily Telegraph and countless websites and magazines. As well as writing about the outdoors I've contributed film and writing to websites dedicated to Formula One racing and rugby union and I am an avid sports fan. I also wrote a regular blog for 5 years, with an average monthly readership of 8,000.

My thirst for adventure has seen me climb, ski, kayak or skydive across the World, including 6 trips to Nepal, 4 to India, and 7 to Morocco (including several first ascents in the Atlas mountains) as well as visits to Bolivia, Kosovo, Iceland, Norway, Macedonia, Taiwan, Romania, Tanzania, USA, Canada, Slovakia, New Zealand, and across Western Europe. For 5 years I led commercial mountaineering and trekking expeditions and was lucky enough to take clients to some of the most beautiful mountains in the World. This experience taught me to handle pressure and deal calmly with stressful (and potentially dangerous) situations - skills I am glad of in my broadcasting career.

One of the highlights of my travels was managing to obtain a visa to visit North Korea for 5 days. I didn’t manage to climb any mountains there but I'm planning on returning to experience North Korea’s recently opened first ski resort!

My goal is to combine my passion for sports with a professional and efficient approach to create world class content. For further information or to work with me, please get in touch.

I am a British broadcaster and writer with broad experience across different media formats. I work for multiple brands in any given year, presenting live broadcasts, writing content and producing podcasts. Between 2016 and 2020, I presented and commentated on the live coverage of the International Federation of Sport Climbing World Cups - of which there are 20 per year in Europe, China, Japan, India, Russia and the USA - and helped to prepare climbing for its (eventually postponed) Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020. I previously presented for a Formula One Racing website and on a daily EpicTV show for 400 episodes. In addition to my broadcasting work, I have written for National Geographic, Strava, Red Bull, Adidas, and numerous magazines and websites. My first book was published in 2016.
